My case of the mondays

1 John 3

Long day. Dena left and I'm starting to feel the workload pile up at work. Had Chickenbox? in La Habra, dude I have never waited 45 minutes for 3 pieces of chicken, some potato wedges and mashed potatoes. Granted it was cheap but it wasn't thaatttt great. I'm in the mood for some italian....

It doesn't take a person with the strongest faith to know that sin is bad. Living a life a sin we cannot be one with God. There is a huge difference between sins of weakness and sins of willful, habitual sin. An eagle may dip its wings in the mud, but it is still an eagle. A righteous man may have sins of weakness and yet still be a righteous man. But from today's passage there is clearly a fine line between moments of weakness and wallowing in the filth of immorality and sin on a consistent basis. I think its the change that we want in our hearts that defines and shows repentance. As cliche as it may be, actions speak a heck of a lot louder than words.
