Yes yes...I know my last entry contained many grammatical errors, too lazy to edit...i mean, it's just a blog right? So all you haters (Noonz and audge), go to the left (<----).
Today was performance review day at work. Actually, we are having them every month is we journey towards excellence at CHOC...blerg...work is actually slowing down now...finally, but still working on organizing a lot of stuff. Just got back from Labor day weekend up in San Diego with DH and it was stinking fun. Ate fish tacos at Fish Tin was sooo goood. It was crazy though, there was this crazy lady that was spitting on one of the workers...she was psycho....and then went to this cool place that was high up...for breakfast ate at this place Cafe 222....one of the best breakfast food places ever....this was a very fun and relaxing long needed vacation...
These last couple weeks have been stinkin crazy. Never in million years would I have guessed what the last few days have divulged. As cliche as it sounds, God really is there when you need Him, and he knows what is best for you before you even know it. This is something that I have realized, especially with relationships. Just when you think that you are fine by yourself or in your cliques, God presents situations and people smack right in front of your face. Absolutely amazing...
These days I have been working through some interview questions, and it really got me thinking about who I am and what I have to offer not just to a school, but to God. If heaven required a resume, and if I got interviewed, what the snaps would I do or say? Even simple things like preparing for interviews is a constant reminder of what Jesus had done for me.

My perseverance
Wow....it has been a while...got started because of Noonz and since she was gone for a while stopped blogging...but I'm back!!!
So...lets see, finally getting a handle of things at work, despite having no extra help...plus there has been some vent problems right under my desk! so no air conditioning....holy snapss....there's thermometer next to my desk and it reads about 28 Celsius which is about 82-83 degrees (for those non science majors)....plus I got my new phone...BB tour!! Soo fun and awesome....but now the madness is never ending...always online...always getting emails..etc. Just making my life busier, but more organized...
Also, I planned my trip to DC and New York. Going at the end of this month...going to stay at my old research PhD's students house for a few days then go to New York and stay with my cousin, her husband and my niece Hudson!!! such a cutie...will post pictures of her later...and then going back to D.C. to stay at a hostel...becausee D.C. is stinkin ridiculous....250 a night for a hotel plus, 14.5% tax on all hotel charges....I mean c'mon...while I'm there maybe I can meet with Obama and get this health care reform plan rolling...hahaha....I'm making a list of all the places I want to visit and take pictures of...hopefully the trip goes according to my plans...
This past month I have been reminded about frienships, and how important they are to a person's maturity and growth. Being a friend isn't about always talking to the person and telling them what they want to hear. It's about being there when it counts, and telling them the things that are best for them, even if it is difficult for them to digest. Of course it takes time to develop that specific dynamic of a friendship, but being friend is to truly care and love that person, which is never easy in any relationship. With the advent of "facebook" and "aim" its so easy and convenient to create these "friendships". And living in a society that is so "click-ish" it is at times very difficult to start those kinds of meaningful friendships and is often construed as weird or suspicious when a person you met a couple times wants to hang out or grab food....maybe its just me but all relationships start somewhere and just gotta go back to the basics....
